Prohibited items to be shipped

Le international shipments or national may be subject to restrictions on the contents to be shipped. There are certain categories of items that cannot be shipped worldwide. These items include weapons, explosives, dangerous chemicals, drugs, pornographic materials and illegal items.

In addition, there are also some items that may be subject to national or international restrictions. If you send a parcel that contains prohibited articles, you may not claim its loss or damage. If it causes damage, together with the carriage of prohibited goods, the Sender shall pay the costs to the carrier.

  • Products in the list of ADR Convention  (Road Transport of Dangerous Goods)
  • Products inadequately packaged in accordance with our rules or packages that are tied together

Prohibited items in international shipments

  • Alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and excisable goods
  • Articles listed in the ADR Convention 
  • Items with a value exceeding € 5,000
  • Drugs and medicines
  • Containers with oil or petrol
  • Pornographic material
  • Cutting objects, knives, box cutters and/or any other blunt object that can be considered a weapon (contact us before booking your shipment)
  • Goods whose shipping parcels is prohibited by applicable law (e.g. because of the content, the recipient, or the country from/to). Applicable law means all laws, and consequential legislation (e.g. decrees, regulations or actions) on the basis of which sanctions, as well as trade restrictions and economic sanctions may be applied against countries, persons or entities (e.g. Embargoes), including measures established by the United Nations, the European Union and EU Member States, such as Malta, Cyprus, Greece, and islands outside Europe.

  • Explosive substances and objects
  • Gas and liquid nitrogen
  • Materials subject to spontaneous combustion
  • Flame retardants
  • Oxidisable substances
  • Corrosive substances
  • Articles listed in the DGR - Dangerous Goods Regulation issued by the International Air Transport Association (IATA)
  • Tobacco
  • Flammable products and/or products bearing the flammability symbol
  • Lithium batteries
  • Alcoholic drinks
  • Perfumes
  • All kinds of alcohol-based products and/or cosmetics

Non-insurable items

These goods can be transported, but cannot be insured.

  • live animals
  • securities, coins (unless collectors' items)
  • goods whose value is sentimental
  • damaged, damaged, perishable products or products to be moved at a controlled temperature
