In the case of transportation by land, reference is instead made to the “Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road” (CMR), signed in Geneva on May 19, 1956 (also referred to as the “CMR Convention”).

Commitment to the legitimacy and transparency of treatment

Giobama srl Unipersonale undertakes to process in a lawful, correct and transparent manner the data of users who visit this website. The information will be collected only for the purpose of providing the user with our service (also understood as a simple consultation of the site) and will not be treated or processed in a way not compatible with that purpose.

The information collected will be limited to that which is strictly necessary to provide that service or the specific purposes of that service, and we will also take care to ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date and that the user is provided with appropriate means to correct or update it.

The purpose of the website is to provide a clear and effective interface for our customers to make part-load (LTL) or full-load (FTL) shipments both throughout Italy and abroad at the most convenient prices, using the best couriers nationwide and worldwide.

At the core of our service is the belief that logistics should be simple and transparent. With SpedizioneComoda.com, booking takes only a few clicks and usually takes less than 3 minutes.

Our technology-driven solution offers a more organized, user-friendly and cost-effective approach to logistics.

Categories of personal data covered by the service

The data processing of our platform and service is limited to 1) data subject to anonymization and pseudonymization in connection with simply visiting our website (“traffic data”) and 2) some identifying data when subscribing to our services, and strictly excludes biometric, medical and judicial data.

In the course of data processing, we will not collect ethnic or racial information, about political opinions or religious or philosophical beliefs, affiliations, data concerning health, gender or sexual orientation.

Rights of the user with regard to processing

1) Right to information. The data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation from the data controller of the existence of data concerning him/her.

2) Right of access. Finally, the data subject has the right to be informed by the data controller in case the restriction on processing is lifted.

6) Right to be notified of deletion, modification or restriction of processing. The data controller is obliged to send a notification to the data subject in case of cancellation, modification or limitation of processing. In addition, the data controller is obliged to inform other controllers employed by him/her, of the rectification/amendment, erasure or restriction of processing, provided that it is possible or does not require disproportionate effort. In addition, the data controller is obliged to inform the data subject about other data controllers if the data subject so requests.

7) Right to data portability. The data subject has the right to receive personal data relating to him or her in a structured, commonly used (standard), machine-readable format, and, if necessary, to transmit it to another data controller without being obstructed by the data controller (even if the processing is done by automated means). The data subject may also request that the data be transmitted directly to another controller of a similar service, where technically possible.

8) Right to object to processing. The data subject may object to processing in the event that personal data are processed for marketing purposes, including profiling: in this case, the user may request that personal data no longer be used for such purposes. The data controller is obliged to inform the data subject at the same time as his or her first communication with him or her, in a clear and prominent manner with respect to other information.

Third parties involved in treatment

SpedizioneComoda.it” delegates processing responsibility to a limited number of partners with respect to specific website features or aspects of the service offered on the spedizionecomoda.it website, choosing leaders in the relevant field, with the aim of offering a comprehensive service with a character of excellence. Currently Giobama srl Unipersonale uses the following partners to fulfill its service:

1) “Server Plan srl” (hosting provider). It is the company, based in Italy, which offers and maintains the IT infrastructure on which the site spedizionecomoda.it is based. The respective privacy policy can be viewed here. “Server Plan srl” offers a high level of professionalism and the adoption of both technical and organizational measures such as to ensure the security of data processing with reference to reliability, integrity, ability to cope with any unforeseen events, the ability to restore data following any incidents, and the regular performance of tests to verify the compliance of technical and organizational measures aimed at ensuring the security of processing. The same company also provides adequate safeguards for data security with respect to destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or unauthorized access to personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed. 2) Authorize.net (online payment gateway). Authorize.net is based in California (United States) and is a subsidiary of Visa.inc. It offers high security standards and you can see its privacy policy here. When a user of our service chooses Authorize.net as a payment method, the following information will be sent to Authorize.net the following information: credit/debit card number, expiration date, card verification code, name/type of service purchased, quantity, description and price; tax amount, type and description; tax amount, type and description; purchase id; customer id; user’s contact information, such as first name, last name, company affiliation, address, city, state/region (if applicable), zip code and country; delivery information (if different from contact information), user’s ip address, some settings pertaining to payment. The contact information is required as billing information, and the delivery information is required to properly deliver the products.
SpedizioneComoda.it” will not intervene in the payment process in any way, which is entirely managed by Authorize.net and its affiliated companies (see Authorize’s privacy policy.net for more information), and it is geared solely to the making and transmission of payment between merchant (“SpedizioneComoda.it“) and customer (user of the site spedizionecomoda.it who purchases its services) and the prevention of fraud.
The user may withdraw consent to the processing of personal information managed by Authorize.net, request its cancellation, modification or restriction of processing.

3) PayPal. PayPal Holdings, Inc is a payment gateway that allows you to make payments either as a registered Paypal user or by credit/debit card (a mode referred to as “guest transaction”). Paypal will collect transaction information in accordance with its updated privacy policy. While using such payment system on our website, the following information may be sent to Paypal: order number/code, order name and date, order currency, order notes, order terms, other order information; buyer’s contact information, such as first name, last name, address, zip code, location data, country code, email address, phone number; shipping information (if different from buyer’s contact and delivery information), additional information; name, description, quantity, price, currency, additional data about the purchased products/services, taxes, discount; configuration information.
Paypal handles the payment independently (governed by the relevant privacy policy) and then sends a response to the spedizionecomoda.it site with the transaction id, status, purchase details, metadata (such as links related to the transaction), transaction amount and currency, buyer’s billing email address. Transfer of data to third countries

All controllers/processors involved in the service operate in countries that comply with an “Adequacy Decision” by the European Union.

In particular, the data controller operates in the italy, the IT infrastructure is located and managed in Italy, stripe payment service operates in Europe, PayPal payment system has a European office in Luxembourg, and the company to which Google Analytics belongs is Google Inc. which is also based in the United States (California) and in Ireland (Dublin) as a subsidiary company that is the data controller for users in the European Union.

Giobama srl Unipersonale does not plan to transfer data to countries for which the “Adequacy Decision” by the European Union is absent, with a view to relying only on companies that are leaders in their field and can guarantee standards of reliability and security on levels of excellence.

Control authority

The Italian supervisory authority is the “Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.” Specifically, the Garante is responsible, with reference to the needs of users, for verifying the compliance of personal data processing with the law and prescribing measures to be taken by data controllers, examining complaints (protection of unlawful processing), and restricting, suspending, or prohibiting processing that violates the rules. If you believe your rights have been violated, and you have not received satisfactory feedback from the controller of our service, you have the right to file a complaint with the Italian Garante Authority.
