In that time, not much has changed for citizens.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: ES; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;\" lang=\"ES\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">After all, it was necessary to maintain the economic relations and cultural exchanges established while within the Union. <\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">Meanwhile, ministers met to redefine the economic and social relationship between Britain and the rest of Europe following Brexit.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: ES; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;\" lang=\"ES\"><\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">This decision-making transition gave rise to the TCA (<b>Trade and Cooperation Agreement\u00a0<\/b>of 24 December 2020), which from 1 January 2021 redefines the relationship between the UK and Europe. <\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">The United Kingdom has thus become an outsider to the European Union.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14.6667px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">The TCA is essential for any trader, large or small, as well as European and British citizens, because <b>defines the modalities for the exchange of goods and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spedizionecomoda.com\/en\/\">parcel shipments<\/a><\/b>, but also of, investments, competition rules, tax transparency, transport of goods by air and road, cultural exchange and much more.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">It is clear that the freedom to exchange articles and services has been lost and European companies must pay close attention to this.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Above all, in a digitised age such as ours, the Brexit was a turning point for the world of e-Commerce.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: 600;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: 600;\">How will the relationship between European traders and the UK change after Brexit?<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: 600;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: 600;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ab7028c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ab7028c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" id=\"2\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><b>What does the TCA provide for?<\/b><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ac517a8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ac517a8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">The acronym TCA stands for <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">for Trade and Cooperation Agreement <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">commercial) and points to an agreement signed on 24 December that determines the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">relationship between the European Union and the United Kingdom, now regarded as a\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">of a non-European country in many respects.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">In order to facilitate trade, the two countries decided not to apply additional tariffs or impose complex practices that could slow down the entry or exit of goods.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: ES; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;\" lang=\"ES\"><\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">However, much has changed: free trade has been abolished and, in some specified cases, customs fees and VAT will be applied.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><b><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">In particular, two points stand out in the TCA:<\/span><\/b><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><b><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p><ul><li><b><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"IT\">No<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">The Brexit has\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">introduced a number of changes regarding trade between the Kingdom\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">United Kingdom and Europe.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: 600 !important;\">Firstly, the exit from the Customs Union<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">. Secondly, the exit from the Single Market.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">This means that the status of \u201csupply of goods\u201d is dropped in favour of \u201cimport and export of goods\u201d.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">This is because <b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spedizionecomoda.com\/en\/spedire-in-inghilterra\/\">Shipping to England<\/a><\/b><a>\u00a0<\/a><\/span><span><span style=\"font-size: 8.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">has become international in nature and it is therefore necessary to produce <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spedizionecomoda.com\/en\/extra-ec-shipments-such-as-customs-documents\/\"><b>customs documents<\/b> <\/a><\/span><span><span style=\"font-size: 8.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">to allow goods to enter and leave the country.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Producing documentation to enable foreign shipments to reach their recipients could slow down shipping times, raise costs and make the whole process more cumbersome.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"FR-CA\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"FR-CA\">This news suggests that tariffs will be applied on exports. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">This will result in a <b>increased costs<\/b> shipping and customs clearance, but also related to the\u00a0<b>currency exchange<\/b>.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Conformity checks of goods will be made compulsory. This means that the <\/span><b style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">customs clearance time<\/b><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> will be <\/span><b style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">longer<\/b><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\" lang=\"ES\">The hope is that these changes in business logistics will not discourage British and European e Commerce.
